We welcome that the PKK, along with its other titles, such as KCK and KONGRA-GEL, continues to be designated in the updated terrorist organizations list that New Zealand issued today, amongst other terrorist organizations.

On every occasion, Turkey emphasizes the importance of cooperation in countering terrorism and the necessity to fight against terrorist organizations without making any distinction amongst them.

We expect the continuation of increased support of New Zealand and our other partners in our fight against the PKK that claimed thousands of lives of the Turkish citizens.
