We strongly condemn the terrorist attacks that have taken place today in the capital of Somalia, Mogadishu close to the entry of “Villa Somalia” nearby state institutions.

We believe that the said terrorist attacks that have taken place prior to the Somalia Partnership Forum which will be held on 16 – 17 July 2018 in Brussels, where an evaluation of the recent reforms that have been put into place will be conducted, aims at undermining the efforts of the Somalia Federal Government and the international community in providing stability to Somalia.

Turkey will continue to extend its full support to brotherly Somalia, as it has done up until now, in order to attain an environment of peace, tranquility and development in the country.
