H.E. Pavlo Klimkin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, will pay a working visit to Istanbul upon the invitation of H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, on 29 January 2016.

During the visit, the preparations for the 5th Turkey-Ukraine High Level Strategic Council Meeting to be held in the forthcoming months will be reviewed. In addition, the sides will discuss bilateral relations as well as the current situation in the Black Sea basin in the light of the issues creating common concern such as illegitimate annexation of Crimea, practices towards the Crimean Tatars and the situation in Eastern Ukraine.
